To nurture qualified and skilled talents, who are well-versed in the Chinese language and culture and have a good grasp of knowledge in international trade, management, and finance as well as the experience in operating and handling real-life projects pertaining to the Chinese economy, society, and culture values in a cross-cultural environment, so as to meet the demands of the fast changing world economy. College of Fashion and
Shanghai International College of Fashion and Innovation, Donghua University (hereinafter
referred to as SCF) will introduce world-class models in design education, with each
disciplinary programme run in partnership with a renowned international institution. In 2014,
SCF launches two programmes under the
cooperation between Donghua University and Edinburgh College of Art, University of
Graduates may work for Chinese and international fashion brands, luxury brands, design
studio, fashion publishing and media, engaging in fashion design, fabric design, garment
pattern design, fashion editing, brand management and sales. Graduates are also encouraged
to start their own businesses, establish design studios and create personal fashion brands.

English Courses: ESL ( English as Second language ) level 1-6; Academic English-Presentation Skills; Academic Writing; Business English; as so on.
The Objective of these course is to increase your language skills, especially in Chinese and English. After taking these courses, you will be able to communicate in Chinese and English fluently, read and write articles in English and Chinese, and familiar with the terms, sentence, grammars commonly used in the business world. Your language skills will be improved from the academic perspective. Courses for students with different level of Chinese and English proficiencies are available. You are required to take at least 30 credits in Chinese language and show sufficient language and show sufficient language proficiency by passing IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, HSK3, and BCT3 to graduate from the program.
