ลักษณะหลักสูตร

เป็นหลักสูตรที่อยู่ภายใต้การดำเนินการของแผนกการศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างประเทศ (School of International Education) ของมหาวิทยาลัย UIBE หรือ ในชื่อย่อภาษาจีนว่า จิงเม่า ซึ่งจัดเป็น มหาวิทยาลัยทางด้านธุรกิจอันดับหนึ่งในปักกิ่ง

เป็นหลักสูตรที่ได้รับการออกแบบมาเฉพาะสำหรับชาวต่างชาติ เพื่อเพิ่มพูนความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และ ทักษะด้านต่างๆในการทำธุรกิจในเมืองจีน โดยสามารถเลือกเน้น 1 ใน 3 สาขาหลัก คือ การค้าระหว่างประเทศ (International Trade), การเงิน (Finance) หรือ เศรษฐศาสตร์อุตสาหกรรม (Industrial Economics)

จดหมายแนะนำจากอาจารย์หรือที่ทำงาน 2 ฉบับ
เอกสารลงนามผู้ค้ำประกัน หรือ ผู้ปกครอง (ขอรับแบบฟอร์มได้ที่ OREN) และ สำเนาหนังสือเดินทางของผู้ลงนามการค้ำประกัน 1 ฉบับ

ระยะเวลาเรียน

1 - 3 ปี โดยใน 1 ปี แบ่งภาคการศึกษาออกเป็น 3 ภาค ดังนี้ ภาคฤดูใบไม้ร่วง เรียนประมาณ 14 สัปดาห์ (เดือนกันยายน ถึง เดือนธันวาคม) ภาคฤดูใบไม้ผลิ เรียนประมาณ 18 สัปดาห์ (เดือนมกราคม ถึง กลางเดือนพฤษภาคม) ภาคฤดูร้อน เรียนประมาณ 8 สัปดาห์ (เดือนพฤษภาคม ถึง เดือนกรกฎาคม)

ระยะเวลารับสมัคร

ส่งใบสมัครและเอกสารก่อนวันที่ 15 พฤษภาคม สำหรับเทอมกันยายน (ภาคฤดูใบไม้ร่วง) ของทุกปี
และก่อนวันที่ 10 ตุลาคม สำหรับเทอมมกราคม (ภาคฤดูใบไม้ผลิ) ของทุกปี

รายละเอียดการเรียน

นักศึกษาต้องเก็บหน่วยกิจให้ครบ 37 หน่วยกิจ จากวิชาบังคับ 12 หน่วยกิจ วิชาเฉพาะสาขา 5 หน่วยกิจ วิชาเลือก 20 หน่วยกิจ และ ไม่มีการทำวิทยานิพนธ์สำหรับหลักสูตรนี้ หรือ นักศึกษาอาจเลือกทำวิทยานิพนธ์โดย คิดเทียบเท่า 6 หน่วยกิจในวิชาเลือก ซึ่งจะมีการแนะนำอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาให้สำหรับนักศึกษาที่ต้องการทำวิทยานิพนธ์

สำหรับนักศึกษาที่ผ่านการทำ Course work ด้วยคะแนนไม่ต่ำกว่า 60 จากคะแนนเต็ม 100 จะได้รับการพิจารณาจบการศึกษาในหลักสูตร Applied Economics

รายละเอียดวิชา

AE401 Microeconomics (3 credits) the course provides students with a general knowledge on microeconomics. It provides a treatment of microeconomic theory that stresses its relevance and application to both managerial and public policy decision-making. It covers the following main topics: consumer behavior, production analysis, market structure and competitive strategy, externalities and public goods. This course is suitable for students with a broad range of backgrounds.

AE402 Macroeconomics (3 credits) the course is designed for students who have had few or no economics course work before.? I will teach this course as if everyone in our class is taking an economics course for the first time. When you finish this course, you will certainly have had beyond the equivalent of what an economics major undergraduate has had in the area of Macroeconomics.? So in this course, you will be learning more than what an undergraduate economics major learns about macroeconomics.

Program Highlights

- Internship Placements
Internship placements are available to persons who are full-time students and are registered in the School of International Trade and Economics for the Master's program in Applied Economics or Master's program in International Business. The Placements provide students with direct work experience in various areas of non- governments, and help to develop personal contacts and networks to assist with future career prospects. This Internship Placement is a competitive program, and is entirely voluntary in that participating students receive no financial remuneration.

- FREE Chinese Mandarin classes.
SITE offers Free Chinese Mandarin classes only for International Graduate program students. The Chinese classes include Speaking, Listening Comprehension, Intensive Reading, etc. Also offer a special course for special requests, such as Chinese for Economics and Trade. Moreover, the Program also provides Intensive Chinese Tutorials for the first term.

- FREE FIELD TRIPS
SITE offers FREE field trips which include China Development Zones,Multinational ?Enterprises, sightseeing (includes Great Wall) etc. Field trips give students more clear idea how China changes economically and culturally.
